We use radiography in a great number of lameness investigations to evaluate bones and joints. It also invaluable in the investigation of dental disease and other diseases of the head as well as evaluating the chest.

All our clinics have x-ray machines and we are able to take x-rays both at the clinics and on your own premises (as long as you have an mains power supply).

A recent addition to our radiographic equipment is the Eklin digital radiography system. This enables us to take produce high quality radiographic images almost instantaneously, on a computer screen. This system can be used on yards as well as at the clinics and makes taking x-rays ‘in the field’ a great deal easier.

Digital images can be e-mailed or put on a disc which makes transfer of information and communication with owners, farriers and referring vets a much easier.

We offer a referral service for radiography and radiological interpretation (film reading service) to other veterinary practices. This is service is headed by Becky Jones. Becky holds the RCVS Diploma in diagnostic imaging (DVDI). As well as Becky there are several other vets that have extensive experience in radiological interpretation including Ian Camm and Chris Wright.
