In House Laboratory
Our in house lab is run by the nursing team who are trained in using the equipment and manual analysis of samples.
Tests include:
- Blood analysis – haematology, Biochemistry, Blood smears
- Urinalysis
- Faecal analysis
- Joint and peritoneal sample analysis
- Microscopy
- Stud Laboratory Diagnostics – Endometrial smears, Ovulation tests, IGG tests on newborn foals
The lab enables us get same day results, which is particularly useful for in-season mare swabs as the smear can be analysed and a result given whilst the mare is still in the same season.
